Simply Better Temps

Last week we had a meeting with one of our marketing specialists.
During the meeting, a question arose that needed to be answered about our place in the market.
I was asked “Why should people use Temp network?”
Normally I give the answer about hands on directors and slick back office procedures. But in thinking about it, our best example of why clients should go to our agency is simple:
We provide BETTER temps!
We do. I know we do. The effort that goes in to interviewing each and every candidate (as opposed to just “registering” them) means that we can match the right person to the right job. Thus we have less no shows and nobody walking off site part way through a shift.
Time and time again, current clients ask to have staff from us quoting the names of the temp worker that they would ideally like to have. Wherever possible, we do this – however if that temporary worker is unavailable as they are working elsewhere, then we would supply an alternative candidate.
How do we get better temps?
1. We pay more than minimum wage wherever possible.
2. We interview thoroughly and are honest with candidates.
3. We supply written job briefings that include where to go, what the shift time is and who to report to.
4. Time sheets and useful information is held on our web site to help those wishing to work on our behalf.
5. We have regular, ongoing contracts so we are able to give consistency in terms of earnings.
